Here is an abstract:In this paper, I argue that Brad Hooker's rule-consequentialism implausibly makes what Earthlings are morally required to do for the sake of aiding their fellow Earthlings depend on whether or not people exist on some far-off distant planet even when the inhabitants of that planet are so far away that it is physically impossible for Earthlings to have any effect on their lives.
